A Lime tree was recently felled close to the entrance to Batchwood Sports Centre. New Greens Resident’s Association leader; Damien Gaskin, asked for our help to re-use the large logs to protect the Toulmin Drive playing field from vehicle parking. We were delighted to truck the logs to the kerb. There is more to do but you can see the impact of the effort so far.
You will notice the 20 mph sign in the photo, part of the new speed restrictions in residential areas across St Albans. Many new signs and posts have been installed. A dog walk takes a little longer with more posts to investigate!
