In recent week we have been improving the access to the woods to invite more of the local community to explore this fantastic space.
With our new information boards to guide people, we have added three circular walks and added way-markers to direct walkers. There are three loops marked blue, red and purple. We use a combination of the bridleways and well trodden paths.
Where the paths have been very wet and muddy we have been spreading wood chippings to absorb moisture and add structure. The wood is now even more enjoyable in the winter sun.
Please let people know our short walks are there and encourage the people to enjoy a being in nature on their doorstep.
