Storm Damage

Rain saturated ground, combined with high winds has caused one or two mature trees to fall. You can see examples in the area of wood near the entrance to the main car park. The root ball has given way and these heavy, tall trees have damaged other trees on their way down. The greenkeeper team has cleared where roads or paths were affected. FOB will remove as much as we are able over the coming weeks. The main trunk is too wide for our chainsaws to cut and these will be left on the ground. The silver-lining is there will be more light for the less mature trees and plants in the area.
